NIMS ICS 400 – Advanced ICS for Command and General Staff is a 16-hour course that is intended to provide training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS).
The 2024 National Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Conference theme is Visions of Progress: Sustainable Strategies for Emergency Preparedness and Resilience. By learning from the local-level triumphs and challenges of America’s healthcare coalitions, we can adapt these successes into long-term, dynamic solutions that will benefit fellow coalitions across the country.
The Region J Executive Members would like to invite you to our 4th Qtr. Region J Coalition Meeting & Holiday Party on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
This eight-hour course teaches skills & information to assess & stabilize the burn patient at the scene of an emergency in preparation for transport to the nearest appropriate emergency facility.
This two day course is a basic-level course that provides a comprehensive overview of exercise design along with practical skill development in accordance with the HSEEP Doctrine. The course uses activities that will give participants an opportunity to interact with many of the templates and other materials that are provided by the National Exercise Division to ensure exercises are conducted in a consistent manner.
This course helps ensure the safety of underserved populations during a crisis event by increasing knowledge among community emergency planners in the area of preparedness.
Personal Protective Measures for Biological Events is a one-day course focusing on the challenges faced by first responders and clinical health care professionals in prehospital and hospital environments as they deal with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs and potential contamination issues.
The Georgia Cancer Summit, which will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia, brings together public health professionals, healthcare providers, health advocates, researchers, community-based organizations, and others committed to improving cancer health equity in Georgia through cancer prevention and control, community-engaged research, and actions to enhance equitable access to care and clinical trials.

The goal of Emory University’s Serious Communicable Diseases ECHO program is to provide evidence-based resources and guidance to medical professionals and public health officials to identify and treat patients with special pathogens, other infectious diseases, and mitigate the spread of disease.
Each year, AHEPP hosts a national conference, AHEPP Annual, providing healthcare and other preparedness professionals with information, skills, and networking opportunities to help guide and refine disaster planning efforts in various healthcare settings.
