The Region J Healthcare Coalition is a multiagency coordinating group. This collaborative network of healthcare organizations includes:

  • Primary care providers
  • Public safety agencies

The main purpose of the Region J Healthcare Coalition is to provide regional integrated healthcare emergency preparedness activities and response coordination.

The Region J Healthcare Coalition serves 13 counties in Southeast Georgia. Region J provides information sharing, training, exercise, equipment, and information sharing for our partners. We work closely with a broad spectrum of healthcare partners and welcome all who are interested in healthcare preparedness in Region J.

Memorial Health University Medical Center is a 612-bed hospital in Savannah. Our hospital includes the region’s only Level 1 trauma center, the region’s only Children’s Hospital, and the Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine. Memorial Health serves 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina.
