G-191, Incident Command System/Emergency Operations Center Interface Course

The G191 is an 8-hour (1 Day) course to enable the students to develop an effective interface between the Incident Command/Unified Command and the Emergency Operations Center by applying National Incident Management System principles.

The course provides an opportunity for emergency management and response personnel to begin developing an Incident Command System (ICS)/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) interface for their communities. The course reviews ICS and EOC characteristics, responsibilities and functions and depends heavily on activities and group discussions to formulate an interface.

REQUIRED STUDENT PREREQUISITES Prior to enrolling in G191, students must complete

•IS-0100 C. An Introduction to the Incident Command System,
•IS-0200 C. Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response or the IS-2200 Basic Emergency Operations Center Functions
•IS-0700 B. An Introduction to the National Incident Management System
•IS-0800 D. National Response Framework (NRF), An Introduction
