Wayne Greene\, the Vice President of the Glynn Amateur Radio Association\, has agreed to host an in-person Technician level course and testing in Brunswick for our emergency managers and any others who are interested. \n\n\n\nThis training will be held over a two-day period\, Saturday (March 9th) & Sunday (March 10th)\, at the Glynn County EMA Training Center\, 157 Public Safety Blvd.\, Brunswick. The in-person testing will be administered two weeks later on Saturday (March 23rd) in order to give people time to study and to take online practice tests. \n\n\n\nRegion J is willing to sponsor one or two partners per facility. If two partners attend from a facility (if>50 miles)\, they must be willing to share a room. Training and education in the methods of farm/rural rescue are essential for proper response and safety of the rescuer and patient.
