DESCRIPTION:As we prepare for the 2024 Hurricane Season\, the number one task during a major hurricane is to safely evacuate our patients or receive other State patients. Knowing how to use the State Evacuation and Transportation Board is key to the success of an evacuation or transfer process. DESCRIPTION:This free\, one-day course features information on infectious disease trends and emerging threats\, transmission routes\, personal protective equipment (PPE) recommendations\, infectious disease profiles\, hand hygiene\, PPE donning and doffing\, and integration with community partners. This course is also approved for six hours of NAB continuing education credit for LTC Administrators. \n\n\n\nRegister for This Course\n\n\n\nOur mission is to provide CMS certified long term care facilities with critical knowledge\, skills\, and abilities related to infectious disease precautions\, prevention\, protection\, and disinfection.
