SUMMARY:Security Awareness Training
DESCRIPTION:DHS CISA and Savannah will be hosting and presenting a day of briefings and training on various security topics. Starting the day will be an insider threat workshop where CISA staff will discuss the potential threats posed by insiders and ways you might mitigate the threats.\n\nFollowing that will be classes on the terrorist attack cycle and how to respond to suspicious behaviors presented by a CISA instructor using Office for Bombing Prevention materials. Both 1-hour courses are presented from the viewpoint of potential bombing attacks and will award those that attend and pass a quick test certificates through the Center for Domestic Preparedness and Continuing Education Units. When you sign-up using the instructions and your FEMA Student ID number (FEMA SID) on the following page you will be automatically registered for both courses.\n\nAfter those classes will be de-escalation training and an active shooter emergency planning overview presented by CISA staff.
